SUNDAY 22nd MARCH 2026 | LONDON
“I attended the beginners and advanced shamanic workshops and had a fantastic experience. I was so glad that I did both weekends consecutively as I felt it layered really well and allowed me to get a richer experience. The teachers, Ruben and Michele were incredible with a wealth of knowledge. The pace of the course was perfect, there was enough but not too many people that it felt engaging but still intimate. It’s one of those courses that you could do again and again and learn every time. I really enjoyed the style of learning one thing and then going into a journey to experience it for myself. It was very empowering and transformative as well as an opportunity to release. I came out of the weekend buzzing and feeling very ‘high’ & energised , in a natural gorgeous way. Thankyou to all”

THE ANDEAN MESA: A TOOL FOR HEALING & MANIFESTATION
We are honoured to introduce our new day-long workshop exploring the ancestral healing tradition of the Mesa - a central tool at the heart of Andean healing. Rooted in the traditions of the northern coast and high Andes, this experiential workshop offers a journey into the world of the Mesa as a tool for restoration, insight, manifestation, connection and personal transformation. Guided by Peruvian Curandero, anthropologist, and archaeologist, Dr Rubén Orellana alongside psychotherapist and shamanic practitioner, Michele Costa Lukis, we invite you to learn directly from an Andean perspective — one that honours the ancestors, the land, and the original wisdom keepers through the tradition of the Mesa.
LEARN THE ART OF THE CURANDERIL MESA
In this workshop, we will share the teachings of the Andean Master Healers and their dialectical conception of the world and the universe, through a direct experience with elements of nature, to reach different states of consciousness and achieve personal manifestation, divination for the healer, client and the community's well-being.
At the heart of our offering is the tradition of the Curanderil Mesa - the healing Mesa of the Master Healers from the northern Peruvian coast and the high Andes. La Mesa is a sacred bridge between healer and patient, holding the elements that healers use in their ritual work to restore harmony and balance. In some southern Andean traditions, the Mesa or Despacho is used as an offering to Mother Earth (Pachamama) to request blessings such as health, a bountiful harvest or favourable weather.
Each element placed on the Mesa carries meaning and function. The arrangement of elements on the Curanderil Mesa has a left, center, and right side, connected to those above and below. These elements include rods of different woods, as trees (Malkis) are believed to possess a protective spirit; stones from various huacas (ceremonial sites); ceramic vessels, generally ancient; perfumes and aromas and various plants.
Together, the elements on the Mesa are known as ‘Las Artes’ — The Arts. They are not inert objects, but living presences which possess the capacity for communication and relationship. Through ritual activation (prayer, intention, and the use of perfumes and aromatic anointments), they are able to enter into dialogue with the healer, supporting the healing work and assisting in service to those in need.
In the Andes, the Mesa is composed of stones, many of meteoritic origin, known as Kuyas. These stones are arranged in circular formations alongside small ceramic vessels containing water from the high mountain peaks (Apus), springs, lagoons, and streams. These vessels may also contain perfumes and plant-based fragrances which are used as tools for energetic cleansing and restoration of the body.
This workshop offers an authentic, lineage-based exploration of Andean healing knowledge, where healing is relational, the universe is alive, and the Mesa is a bridge between worlds. We will learn through relationship with natural elements, ritual practice, and embodied experience. Through this process, participants are invited to explore different states of consciousness, deepen personal awareness, and encounter Andean healing knowledge as a living tradition.
"My spiritual path is to preserve the ancient Andean wisdom of my country and to bridge the understanding of these traditions into the modern world. This is of utmost importance to me.”
